Hibiscus Margarita

Hibiscus Margarita

– 2oz. Of tequila 
– 1oz. Of Cointreau 
– 1oz. Of fresh lime juice 
– 0.5oz. Of hibiscus simple syrup

1. Rim glass with lime and sugar / salt mix 
2. Pour ingredients in a shaker
3. Add ice and Shake it up 
4. Pour over ice and garnish with a lime wheel and dried hibiscus flower

Hibiscus Simple Syrup
– 25 dried hibiscus flowers (I picked mine up from @central_market in their bill department) 
– 2 cups of water 
– 2 cups of sugar 

1. Add dried hibiscus flowers, water and sugar and a pot
2. Bring to a boil, stir occasionally 
3. Once boiling, turn fire off and let the flowers steep till it cools off 
4. Strain in a jar 
5. Store in air tight container in the fridge for up to a week!
